LindyEditions Online Store

The View:

Obsessive, excessive and ever expanding mind and time control has been firmly grasped by the digital revolution, the internet, and its entire myriad connected devices and gadgets.

LindyEditions wants nothing to do with these excesses, or the illusion that all this has made life itself somehow better. The burgeoning societal perspective that sees making recorded creative music more easily available and cheaper if not free, as a vast improvement, is one we heartily disagree with. While we acknowledge many music listeners will readily purchase convenience, over quality music in quality formats, we have always found the best of art to be quite regularly rather inconvenient to search out and experience, and that newer, compressed, disposable formats are a giant leap backwards as to the vital visceral experience subsuming quality recorded music can be.

Therefore, while we will keep recording releases available to order on the site, it will be decidedly "no school"— that's more of a throwback than old school, really. Speed is way overrated, while stillness and taking all the time something needs to grow to its highest level, is essential for us to support.

So the current select limited list of products available is an initial example of what we will be offering through the store--all hard copies of select quality products, to be delivered by mail. We do offer the modernity of PayPal as a payment methodology for those who make the choice to expedite their orders.

No more downloads to computers and phones and other gadgets here, folks. If you are interested in experiencing this genuine music in an authentic way, it is available here, and more special limited edition releases are forthcoming, including vinyl albums and paper books.

So we invite you to take your time, take a breath, and use technology as a tool rather letting yourself become a tool of it, and experience more and more that is real and visceral. That's what we are doing, to very good effect.

Peace, love, and kindness from LindyEditions.
